The creature “Ada” featured in the 2021 movie from Iceland, titled “Lamb”.
Although the film may be listed as “horror” by your streaming service, it would be more appropriate to describe the film “Lamb” as a supernatural and tragic mystery and thriller. It’s not a scary movie, but it is mysterious and suspenseful, and the whole story revolves around two supernatural, folklore-type creatures.
The slideshow is a mish-mash of movie stills, film screen-shots, “Lamb” movie production photos and many photo-references of sheep and lambs.
Replicating Ada was a trial and error learning process. I have extensive experience (since 1999/2000) building scale models for myself and for hire for other collectors, as well as familiarity with taxidermy forms, installing glass taxidermy eyes, and using epoxy clay (sculpting forms, filling model kit seams).
The base form for the Ada replica was a “Reborn” brand vinyl doll kit (toddler size, an Ibex sheep taxidermy head (hard foam), two taxidermy eyes, an epoxy , a wood dowel that serves as a sort of spine. The right arm had to be fabricated so, the “Reborn” head was not used and the right arm was cut off to just above the elbow.
